HALF CAT

so on sunday, me and my housemate go to get breakfast down the street. on one of the side streets, we look over and there is a half of a cat. stopped all conversation points on the way to breakfast and on the way back.

so, it came up again today, and i drew it, and hopefully this is what was happening to half-cat.

a friend proposed chainsaw horns; so thus. i was going to finish it tonight, but i think i'm going to be responsible and go back to work.

OVERTIME

overtime turned into a whole lot of watching internet videos, researching cold fusion and the origin of Battles, and animating alot less than i was hoping...
some drawings, too. i like the flash brush now. now it's mastering the pencil. it's so fickle! and it feels worse on macs, what's up with that??

i really don't know what the color is like anymore, some screens is blaringly oversaturated, but on my cintiq and laptop it's still a got a dusty quality.

but yea.

mechanical things

feeling abit of a drive to draw more mechanical things after beating Portal 2. except i had meant to do fanart for it, and forgot....maybe later.

a weird robot and some shitty flying car thing. i want to fix it...but it's late, i should go. ah, i forgot a bit of the robot's leg too

you know, i figure if i can keep posting at least once a week, that'd be pretty rad. i can definitely keep this up. who knows, i might improve?? i definitely want to fix that car....

found a brush i hadn't used before, and it handles quite nicely on the bamboo.

practice'n! the vinegaroon is pretty awesome, so i gave it a shot. on a half of it at least.

next time, i'll either draw a whole one or a tailless whip scorpion or something

the theme is ....hmmm, there was a word for it that someone figured out, but i don't recall it.

the theme is to draw something that is performing an action redundant to itself. if that doesn't make sense, then an example would be "a bicycle riding itself"

also, i think that's the best drawing of a gun i've ever done. ever, man. and i got it wrong even, now that i'm looking at the reference some more....it's missing a bit just around the index finger....

but wait, also-OPEN SHOW!! it was so awesome! my year is graduating and that's weird! and i'm too tired to elaborate i guess, ever sentence i try typing ends up in a confused sort of blur....

in any case, there was some amazing stuff. i got to see people i hadn't seen in ages, i hadn't seen the school in like a year and a half, and there're some real talented underclassmen and grads. i want to make a film tooooooo, but i can't right now. maybe later in the summer.
